Trigger warnings, and a note about accessibility

It’s important to me that my work be as accessible as it can be. This is for folks with disabilities particular to reading, such as those with dyslexia, those who use a screen reader, and more. I’ve formatted the print novel with larger text and more spacing for those who have trouble reading smaller print; fewer (or none, hopefully) symbols that don’t flow with a screen reader; and fonts that I’ve learned are more easily read by folks with dyslexia.

Accessibility is also important for those who need to know if content could trigger traumatic memories or other painful responses. There are plenty of potential triggers in The Drift series. I’ll list them here as I remember or become aware of them, but please, don’t hesitate to ask. You can use the form on my contact page. We may or may not be strangers, but I promise, your information will be kept confidential, I’ll delete the email I receive, and I’ll respond with the respect and kindness you deserve.

Note: for the purposes of this list, I’m differentiating between content warnings and trigger warnings using their original definitions. Content warnings, content which might make someone uncomfortable or offended (such as vulgarity, reference to sexual kinks, content that might be considered blasphemy) will not be listed here.
